The real issue is where can you go to quickly find content that is new, unique and well written.<\/p>\n<p>Without a magic genie or a <a title=\"5 Benefits of Content Curation and Why You Need a New Body Double\" href=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/content-curation\/\">body double<\/a> and more time in the day, here are seven solutions to help you find content while saving you valuable time.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. <a title=\"BuzzSumo\" href=\"http:\/\/buzzsumo.com\/\">BuzzSumo<\/a>:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A content search tool that will show you the hottest tweets and content related to any search topic under the sun. Just enter a term \u2013 like \u201ccontent curation\u201d, \u201ccupcakes\u201d or \u201cSonoma, CA&#8221; \u2013 and you can browse the most popular posts\u00a0on that topic from the past 24-hours to the past year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefit:<\/strong>\u00a0With BuzzSumo, you can enter your topic of choice and refine search results to the most current and popular articles relevant for your business\u00a0and then share them. You can also\u00a0filter results by guest posts, infographics, articles, giveaways, interviews, and videos.\u00a0<strong>When you know what content is most popular, you have a much better chance of overall engagement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can discover the most shared content:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For a topic on all sites,\u00a0or on a particular site<\/li>\n<li>By competitors<\/li>\n<li>For a specific time period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And, you can discover what type of content is the most popular.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an example of the results page from my search using\u00a0the\u00a0&#8220;Top Content&#8221; tab for the topic &#8220;cupcakes&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10841\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Buzzsumo-cupcake-search-1024x474.png\" alt=\"The Best Tools to Find Content that Will Boost Social Media\" width=\"900\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Buzzsumo-cupcake-search.png 1024w, https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Buzzsumo-cupcake-search-300x139.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>2\u00a0&#8211; <a title=\"Newsle\" href=\"https:\/\/newsle.com\/\">Newsle<\/a>:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Service that finds blogs and articles that mention you or anyone you care about \u2013 colleagues, friends, business acquaintances or industry thought leaders \u2013 and notifies you seconds after they\u2019ve published. Of note, LinkedIn acquired Newsle in\u00a0July 2014.<\/p>\n<p>While there are already &#8220;people search&#8221; sites and social news aggregators, Newsle does two things that haven&#8217;t been done before:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finds real news about (not by) your Facebook friends and LinkedIn contacts (no tweets, no status updates, no &#8220;social noise&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li>Combines this with news about public figures you select, in a single newsfeed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefit:<\/strong>\u00a0When you <strong>share content about others<\/strong>, you\u2019ll find that it helps <strong>build relationships with them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an example from my\u00a0Newsle homepage. First in the feed is an article quoting\u00a0my LinkedIn connection, Les Vadasz, Intel co-founder and a fellow Sonoma Valley Education Foundation board member. More than likely, I would never have picked up this article (and shared it) if I Newsle hadn&#8217;t notified me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10839\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Newsle-Feed-1024x641.png\" alt=\"The Best Tools to Find Content that Will Boost Social Media\" width=\"760\" height=\"476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Newsle-Feed.png 1024w, https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Newsle-Feed-300x188.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>3 &#8211; Discovery Apps &amp; Engines: Flipboard (formerly Zite), StumbleUpon, and Quora<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Discovery apps and discovery engines find and recommend web content to their users. As far as curation goes, this is an easy way to cut out the legwork if you\u2019re not up for a big search to find something new.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>A few favorites:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-10845 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Zite-Logo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The Best Tools to Find Content that Will Boost Social Media\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Zite (which shut down in December 2015) \u2013 <\/b>Was\u00a0a mobile app that let you follow topics and present content in a similar style to <a title=\"Easy Solution to Flip your RSS Feed into a Gorgeous Flipboard Magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/setting-up-flipboard-magazine\/\">Flipboard<\/a>.\u00a0<em>Flipboard<\/em> collects quality content on your favorite topics from the world&#8217;s most trusted sources\u00a0and presents them in a beautiful magazine format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10847 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/StumbleUpon-logo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The Best Tools to Find Content that Will Boost Social Media\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/stumbleupon.com\/\">StumbleUpon<\/a><\/b> \u2013 One of the coolest places to find new stuff is StumbleUpon. Similar to Zite, StumbleUpon is tailored to your interests, and you can vote content up or down. StumbleUpon is a great\u00a0place to go if you&#8217;re looking for something new, but not sure what you&#8217;re\u00a0in the mood for. (But beware of its ability to suck you in!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-10850 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/quora-logo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The Best Tools to Find Content that Will Boost Social Media\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><a title=\"Quora\" href=\"http:\/\/www.quora.com\/\">Quora<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; The best answer to any question! Quora makes it easy to get your questions answered, share your knowledge, and browse the most interesting information people across the world want to share. Collect relevant content and add your insight to attract an avid audience. As a social media and content curation publishing platform, Scoop.it gives you an effective and efficient way to build your online presence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefit:<\/strong> Scoop.it provides an excellent way to <strong>find, track and share great content<\/strong>. There\u2019s always someone out there who\u2019s found something you haven\u2019t. When you come across a particularly interesting article, be sure to scroll down and check the comments. Chances are, someone has shared a related article or website that will interest you.
