If you&#8217;re my age (over 50), you may be under the <em>false<\/em> impression that it&#8217;s is only used by teenagers to send &#8220;not-for-prime-time&#8221; pictures to each other that, thankfully, disappear.<\/p>\n<p>With this limited business model in mind, I was blown away to hear that\u00a0Snapchat\u2019s\u00a0<a title=\"Snapchat raised $1.8B in a Series F round; leaked deck reveals revenues, user numbers\" href=\"http:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2016\/05\/26\/snapchat-series-f\/\">latest Series F financing round, raised\u00a0$1.8 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, as,\u00a0filmmaker and YouTube star, Casey Neistat said, &#8220;Snapchat is the greatest new storytelling tool.&#8221; Something big is going on here, and it&#8217;s obvious that Silicon Valley, Hollywood, and social media know more than I do regarding the demographic reach.<\/p>\n<p>As CNN money phrased it, <strong>Snapchat is growing up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15308 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snapchat-Growing-Up.jpg\" alt=\"Snapchat is growing up\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snapchat-Growing-Up.jpg 780w, https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snapchat-Growing-Up-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dlvrit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snapchat-Growing-Up-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Snapchat has quickly evolved from a messaging app used mostly by teens to a powerful storytelling platform that enables anyone to broadcast short videos and photos (known as &#8220;snaps&#8221;) that are linked together to form a story.<\/p>\n<p>As a small business, you might be questioning &#8211; Is Snapchat for me?
